Bhudevi
In Sanskrit bedeutet Bhudevi, Bhūmi ( भूमि) oder Bhūmī-Devi ( भूमी देवी) ” Göttin der Erde” .
“Bhu” ist die Burloka, die Erdebene. und wird manchmal auch als “Mutter Erde” (Erdgöttin) übersetzt.
Nach meiner Reise in Südindien – Tamil Nadu, bin ich auf diese Skulptur von Bhudevi aus dem 13. Jahrhundert aufmerksam geworden. Es fasziniert mich, wie die Schönheit abgebildet wurde.
Insbesondere all die Details im Kronenchakra; auch der Rückseite des Kopfes – und an den Armen und Händen.

Wir selbst sind Zellen im Körper von Bhudevi. Wenn wir Bhudevi verehren, respektieren wir die Natur – auch unsere eigene, innerste Natur – und leben in Harmonie mit allen Geschöpfen.
Da gibt es noch viel Potential, das aktualisiert werden kann.
Earth Goddess
In Sanskrit Bhudevi, Bhūmi ( भूमि) or Bhūmī-Devi ( भूमी देवी) means “ Goddess of the Earth“.
“Bhu“ is the Burloka, the earthly level, sometimes translated as “Mother Earth”.
After my journey in southern India – Tamil Nadu, I became aware of this 13th century sculpture of Bhudevi. I’m fascinated by how her beauty is depicted.
Especially all the details in her crown chakra; on the back of the head as well – and on the arms and hands.

We ourselves are cells in Bhudevi’s body. When we worship Bhudevi, we respect nature – including our own innermost nature – and live in harmony with all creatures.
